WELCOME!

We have the great pleasure of inviting you to actively participate in the 15th International Isotope Society Symposium on the Synthesis and Applications of Isotopes and Isotopically Labelled Compounds which will be held from June 23^rd-27th 2025 on the campus of AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals in Gothenburg, Sweden.

This symposium will build on the success of the previous fourteen meetings and will feature Plenary and Sponsored lectures, invited lectures, contributed lectures, posters, commercial exhibits as well as the symposium banquet. In addition Wiley has kindly agreed to sponsor 3 x $1,000 awards for student researchers. Those interested in being considered for these awards should submit an abstract as normal but also email the organizers that they wish to be considered for one of these awards.

Topics covered at the meeting will include the synthesis and analysis of isotopically labelled compounds and will cover applications such as the use of isotopes in clinical and pre-clinical studies, the medical use of isotopes, the use of isotopes in agricultural and environmental studies and will review new emerging trends in the field of the chemistry of isotopes and in isotope technique applications. As a result, the meeting will be attended by scientists with a broad diversity of interests in the field of isotopes.

The meeting location on the campus of AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals in Gothenburg which is located on the beautiful west coast of Sweden. The city is known for its picturesque archipelago and relaxed nature of the residents. Gothenburg is easily accessed by air from Landvetter International Airport (GOT) or by train.A bus will be run from the Gothia Towers Hotel to the AstraZeneca site.  A limited number of rooms have been reserved at the hotel for conference attendees.

Plenary speakers for the conference include Matthais Beller, Tanja Gulder, Danielle Leonori, and Veronique Gouverneur and Phil Baran (virtually). This is the 15th in the series of meetings on the Synthesis and Applications of Isotopes and Isotopically Labelled Compounds which have been organized by the International Isotope Society. The last meeting was successfully held in 2022 in Raleigh, NC, USA We hope you will join us in Gothenburg in June 2025 and make this a very successful meeting for scientists from around the world who are interested in Isotopes and Isotopically Labelled Compounds. This will be and excellent meeting place for many interesting interactions, discussions and debates in this field.
